Self-awareness
The path to inner balance and development
Create a stronger connection to your inner world with clarity and compassion.
Konciensia helps you explore and guides you through a continuous journey towards personal growth and development. By actively working on self-awareness, we can create more balance, harmony and meaning in our lives.
Inner compass
By turning our attention inward and learning to distinguish between actual feelings and our interpretations, we can question thought patterns and open up to deeper self-discovery.
Make decisions based on the present
Self-awareness is the ability to make decisions based on the present and not solely on the past. You are empowered to make conscious choices, in line with your current needs and desires.
Curiosity and space
Developing self-awareness requires curiosity about ourselves and space to explore our inner processes. Explore and accept all that is within you for a more authentic self-image.
Konciensia helps you discover and embrace your inner truth and creates a stronger foundation for relationships with ourselves and others. Welcome!
Self-awareness
Self-awareness, focusing on the self. What does it really mean? And above all, why is it important? It is important because if we lose sight of the inside, even ignore it, the result will be that we will be overwhelmed by the outside.
Let's give an example: we run away from the pain of carrying the basic assumption that we are not worthy of love, ignoring pain in the hope that it will diminish. We focus more on what is happening outside ourselves, as a pure strategy to ignore the inside. What is happening on the outside overwhelms us, social media, demands and comparison with others. Further and further away from ourselves, from our bodies and from all the things we want to ignore.
We believe that it is the avoidance itself, how we ignore what really hurts, that creates our suffering. We believe that self-awareness is not something you acquire and then you have it. It is learning to meet, hold and take care of all that exists when the focus is on the self.
Get to know yourself
Get to know yourself. Not as an external demand, but as a calling from within, born of curiosity. A lack of self-awareness can often result, once again, in us being overwhelmed by what is outside ourselves. What he does, what she says, how well someone else is doing.
Self-awareness is also the key to developing yourself and others. If I could travel back in time and give myself a tip, as a newly appointed operations manager at the age of 23, it would be the following:
Direct the majority of your attention inwards, you don't react to the present when you focus outside yourself. Stay with what is happening inside you, let it take place.
Develop yourself and others
Self-awareness is also the key to developing yourself and others. If I could travel back in time and give myself a tip, as a newly appointed operations manager at the age of 23, it would be the following:
Direct the majority of your attention inwards, you don't react to the present when you focus outside yourself. Stay with what is happening inside you, let it take place.
Self-awareness starts with you!
It always starts with you, with the self. Everything else will always be disregarding something, ignoring something.
So, getting to know yourself, aiming inwards is, according to us, done by:
Let the breathing take place, put your feet on the floor/ground. Activate your hands.
Notice what is happening inside you
See if it is possible to create more space for what is happening.
Rest for a moment that everything you notice is valid.
Self-awareness and truth
Self-awareness is also about truth. Seeing and feeling the truth requires the presence of compassion, no matter what comes up inside you. To get closer to the truth, to know if you have self-awareness or how to gain self-awareness, we want to give you one more tip. Answer the question below first:
Have you ever felt violated or alone?
No, you never have. Why is that? Because neither "offended" nor "alone" is a feeling. It is a perception or an interpretation of one or more feelings. Both interpretations and perceptions and feelings are unique to each individual. Learning to separate your perceptions from your feelings is a key to developing yourself and eventually developing others.
So every time you say you "feel" something, check with yourself. Is it a feeling or is it a perception or thought. If you are in a perception or thought, question it with compassion - be curious. If you are in the feeling, back up a little higher in the text and make room for it.
